Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 24/7 emergency department setting, managing a wide range of cases from minor injuries to life-threatening trauma
• Collaborate with specialty support teams including Heart & Vascular, Neurosciences, Radiology, Anesthesiology, and Surgery
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department (ED) nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
