Make a meaningful impact throughout the 26/27 school year by supporting students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral growth as a full-time school psychologist in the vibrant Vero Beach, FL area. This contract position offers the rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 population, conducting 60 or more evaluations annually, and serving as a vital advocate for student success.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for K-12 students to support special education eligibility and intervention planning
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective strategies for student learning and well-being
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services as needed
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations
• Assist in the development and delivery of staff training related to mental health and behavioral support
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation in accordance with district policies
• Stay current with best practices and state requirements for school psychology

Qualifications:

• Valid or transferable Florida school psychologist certification/license (or willingness to obtain)
• Master’s or Specialist-level degree from an accredited school psychology program
• Experience working with K-12 students, completing evaluations, and participating in multidisciplinary teams
• Strong problem-solving, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to manage a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) through 5-31-27
