As a line cook with The Cliffs you will have the ability to grow and learn from some of the best and most talented chefs in the region. The Cliffs offers generous benefits that you won’t see in the restaurant industry. Culinarians earn 4 percent commission on food sales! Basic Qualifications:Recipe for SuccessPrior experience as a line cookPreferred, but not required -Culinary Arts degree and with experience withKnowledge of kitchen equipment, basic tools, small wares, culinary techniques, and ingredients specialized to the locationDemonstrates knowledge of basic food temperatures, proper food handling and good judgment of quantity, quality, and productionShowcases passion for the culinary arts, continual learning, and guest serviceAble to follow recipes, make recipe conversions, adhere to food allergies, and propose menu itemsBasic knife skills and butchering techniquesExhibits clean work habits and ownership of a safe, clean work areaAble to assist completing weekly cleaning and maintenance duties. Willingness to maintain a neat professional appearance and always observe personal cleanliness rules.Assist with other duties as instructed by Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
