THIS ROLE OFFERS A $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS THAT WILL BE PAID OUT AS FOLLOWS:

• 500 AFTER 3 MONTHS OF FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT (1ST PAYMENT)
• 500 AFTER 6 MONTHS OF FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT (2ND & FINAL PAYMENT)

Job purpose The Dispatcher is responsible for ensuring that all collections and deliveries are completed. This dynamic multitasker will also be responsible for monitoring the activities of the Drivers ensuring ensure that all goods are collected and delivered in a timely manner, safely and in accordance with company policies. Duties and Responsibilities Communicate with drivers to arrange on-demand and on time deliveries Provide driver's with a solution for environmental factors that could cause delays for collections and deliveries Maintain constant communication with all departments to ensure the success of all shipments Communicate with Vendors and airlines requesting information as needed Ensure that all communication between drivers and dispatch is clear, concise and professional Monitor the collection screen ensuring that all jobs are dispatched timely based on company standards using the current TMS Verify all notes and instructions before dispatching a driver to a job Ensure that all Airport shipments are collected timely using the current TMS Review the trip sheets throughout the day ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and POD’S are entered Perform daily Inspections of company vehicles to ensure that they are clean, smoke free and there are no new damages to the vehicle Qualifications High school diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job Minimum 1 year of prior dispatch experience in the logistics field Professional knowledge of navigating the NYC area as well as JFK/LGA airport Proficiency with MS office, windows OS, email and internet usage/research Working Conditions/Physicals Requirements Flexibility with shift/schedule Working in a warehouse setting at times Ability to be able to lift up to 70lbs Assisting with Loading and unloading of cargo into vehicles Ability to sit, talk and hear Ability to function in work environment with moderate noise level from several sources creating constant activity Compensation $22.00 - $24.00 Per Hour (Entry Level Role) Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Worldnet is an equal employment opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
