Overview Build Your Career with Rural King Rural King is seeking an experienced Mobile Diesel Equipment Technician to provide on-site service throughout the assigned territory. Using a company-provided service truck, you'll diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain compact tractors, utility tractors, diesel-powered equipment, lawn tractors, zero-turn mowers, outdoor power equipment, and small engines at customer homes, farms, businesses, and dealer locations.

Responsibilities What You'll Do- Travel throughout your assigned territory in a company-provided service truck
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel-powered equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and warranty repairs
- Repair diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, steering, drivetrain, and mechanical systems
- Use diagnostic software, scan tools, multimeters, service manuals, and schematics to identify equipment failures
- Complete electronic work orders, warranty documentation, and parts ordering
- Maintain service truck inventory and safely transport customer equipment
- Communicate repair recommendations and maintenance tips with customers
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in ongoing technical training
Experience servicing or repairing:
- Compact tractors
- Utility tractors
- Agricultural and farm equipment
- Heavy or construction equipment
Qualifications Physical Requirements
- Lift, push, and pull up to 65 pounds
- Frequently move equipment weighing 30 pounds or more
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday
- Operate a company service vehicle daily
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
