About the Role:

Join our team at PROMISE LAND CONSTRUCTION LLC as a Carpenter in Oakville, WA! We are looking for skilled craftsmen who are passionate about building and remodeling new and existing structures.

Responsibilities:

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to ensure accurate project execution.

Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools.

Collaborate with other construction professionals to meet project deadlines.

Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role.

Knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

About Us:

Promise Land Construction LLC is a family owned and operated business based out of Oakville, WA primarily servicing Grays Harbor, Lewis & Thurston Counties. We are looking for a skilled individual, capable of leading a team and performing various construction & carpentry tasks. Must have construction or remodeling skills. 2 years minimum experience for a Carpenter position or 5 years minimum experience for a Lead Carpenter. Our team needs individuals who are self-motivated, able to perform good work and ensure accurate measurements, work independently as well as work well with others. Must be able to follow directions and complete tasks well and on time. Must possess your own tools to be able to use on the job and have reliable transportation. We are looking for someone who is honest, reliable, and has strong, clear, communication skills and is interested in being a part of our family business. Starting pay is $18.50 - $36.00 DOE.
