About the Role Throne Biotechnologies is a clinical-stage biotechnology company conducting groundbreaking clinical research involving Stem Cell Educator therapy for type 1 diabetes and other autoimmune diseases.

We are seeking a patient-centered Physician to serve as a Clinical Investigator. In this role, you will combine direct patient care with clinical trial oversight, managing patients during apheresis and the infusion of final investigational products.

Core Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Evaluate, triage, and treat study participants, managing care during apheresis and final product infusions.
• Clinical Investigation: Oversee study conduct, ensure protocol adherence, and monitor participant safety.
• Medical Oversight: Provide clinical oversight for patients receiving investigational Stem Cell Educator therapy.
• On-Call Support: Assess urgent clinical concerns and provide trial-related support during agreed-upon on-call periods.
• Collaboration: Work closely with clinical, research, and administrative teams to coordinate care and study activities.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license.
• At least 5 years of independent clinical practice post-residency, with experience managing complex patients.
• Demonstrated excellence in IV cannulation, including ultrasound-guided IV placement.
• Active medical malpractice insurance.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of prior experience as a clinical investigator or sub-investigator.
• Pediatric diabetes and pediatric critical care.
• Backgrounds in endocrinology (especially Type 1 Diabetes), immunology, autoimmune diseases, neurology, pediatrics, emergency/intensive care, or hands-on apheresis are highly valuable.
