Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Operate and monitor food production equipment, perform basic maintenance, and ensure product quality, safety, and efficient production flow.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor food manufacturing equipment.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and sanitary.
• Report equipment issues and stop machinery when necessary.
• Ensure a steady supply of materials to the production line.
• Adjust conveyor speeds to maintain workflow.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and production instructions.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail.

Required Skills

• Production or manufacturing experience; food manufacturing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and respond quickly to production issues.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Additional Qualifications

• Comfortable working with production machinery and monitoring equipment.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lodi, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $19.90 - $19.90/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
