Job Description As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Flowery Branch, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help support a welcoming, controlled environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, and communicating professionally with site teams. Your visible presence and attention to detail will help identify and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon02:15 PM - 12:00 AMTue02:15 PM - 12:00 AMWed02:15 PM - 12:00 AMFri02:15 PM - 12:00 AM What You\'ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Screen personnel, visitors, and deliveries entering designated areas in accordance with access-control procedures and facility requirements. Verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and shipment-related documentation before permitting access to restricted or controlled areas. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations through established channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of screening points, facility access areas, and the surrounding perimeter; working conditions may vary throughout the logistics and distribution location. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
