Seeking pickers/packers for warehouse setting for fresh, human grade pet food distributor in Jacksonville, F

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Accurately pack items from cars based on order sheets. Inspect products for defects or damage before packing them.
• Measure, weigh, and pack items securely using appropriate boxes, padding, and sealing materials.
• Safely utilize packing equipment such as air pillows, tape, guns, & box insulation.
• Accurately label packages with shipping destinations, barcodes, and product information.
• Accurately pick items from freezer (below zero degrees).
• Will be held accountable to maintain hourly KPI’s after training period.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous packing experience desired in warehouse setting.
• Ability to walk, bend, reach, lift heavy objects, and stand up to 8hr shifts.
• Ensure the correct items and quantities are shipped to the right customer.
• Ability to ensure package accuracy by utilizing basic mathematical skills
• Capable of working efficiently to meet strict daily shipping and production quotas.
• Familiarity with scanning equipment and warehouse inventory software.
• Ability to work in freezer with below zero temperatures
• Maintain attendance and punctuality during Monday-Friday work schedule
