Veterinarian

Job Summary Glen Ellyn Animal Hospital, part of National Veterinary Associates, is seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join a collaborative, supportive, and friendly team of seven doctors. The ideal candidate will enjoy a varied caseload and be interested in expanding their skills in ultrasound, dentistry, internal medicine, soft‑tissue, and orthopedic surgery. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive veterinary care across all specialties, including diagnostics, medical treatment, and surgery. Work collaboratively with a team of 7 doctors and technicians on a 1:1 DVM to technician ratio. Participate in case discussions, mentorship, and ongoing learning opportunities. Utilize the clinic’s full set of equipment, including digital x‑ray, dental x‑ray, ultrasound, in‑house labs, surgical suite, laser technology, and wetlab. Qualifications Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Illinois and in good standing. Experienced graduates or new veterinary graduates (including those entering the NVA Illinois Mentorship Program). Strong interest in continuing professional development and ability to work flexible schedules. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $120,000 – $140,000, commensurate with experience and scope of services. Student loan assistance: $50,000. Mentorship Program for New Graduates One‑on‑one surgical and medical support from an Illinois mentor. Wellness programming focusing on stress management and work/life balance.
