Duties include operating equipment for organ recovery and preservation, assisting with organ benching, documenting procedures, patient transport, inventory management, continued monitoring of biologic implants, and ensuring proper sterilization and cleaning of equipment. Additionally, they will provide administrative support such as scheduling appointments, managing paperwork, as well as summarizing quarterly quality metrics. Strong attention to detail, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to work in high-pressure environments are essential for this role. Duties may also include all aspects of monitoring and troubleshooting ECMO equipment during ECMO management; preparing equipment, and assisting with patient monitoring.ScheduleFTE: 1.0Shift Hours: VariableDays of Week: VariableLocation: Gainesville, FLPosition requires on-call coverageQualificationsEducationRequired: Associates degree or certified surg tech/paramedic/LPN/ABTC certificationExperienceRequired: Minimum of 2 years progressive healthcare experience or hospital-based procedural areas.
