Senior Tax Accountant ($82K-$100K | Remote | 2080 Hours)

Salary range : $82,000 - $100,000 per year Workplace type : This is a fully remote position with a hybrid option (all applicants must live within a commutable distance of Panama City, FL or Jacksonville, FL to be considered) What you will be doing : Preparing, reviewing and/or managing deliverables, including corporate, personal, tangible, partnership, non-profit, etc. tax returns Preparing and reviewing tax planning projections Conducting tax research and outlining findings and conclusions Responding to IRS and state agency audits, inquiries, and tax notices Communicating directly with existing clients, management, and IRS representatives regarding various tax matters Assisting with business development efforts, including but not limited to, meeting with prospective clients, preparing fee quotes and proposals, and evaluating clients’ needs Engaging in consulting and special projects as requested by Management and Clients What qualifications we are looking for: 4+ years working for a CPA firm Licensed CPA, EA Certification or CPA exam qualified Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Extensive individual/corporate/partnership tax knowledge Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work well independently as well as part of the team Experience with UltraTax (required), Workpapers CS (preferred), Planner CS (preferred) What we offer: TCS is a family-friendly CPA firm offering career growth and development opportunities, an attractive compensation, participation in our 401(k) plan, 50 hours a week maximum , paid time off, 2080 hours annually , closed on Fridays year-round, and a flexible work environment and/or remote work capabilities.
