Job Details

• Location: 1401 Johnston Willis Drive, Richmond, VA 23235
• Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in occupational therapy, active state licensure, two years of hospital and inpatient rehabilitation experience, experience with stroke evaluation and treatment, proficiency with patient communication using AIDET, and ability to perform manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and self-care training
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with hospital outpatient rehabilitation units and neuro re-education techniques
• Patient Care Procedures: Manual therapy for neuro re-education, therapeutic exercises, functional activities, neuromuscular re-education, self-care instruction, electrostimulation
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., weekends rotate
• Additional Information: Candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills and adapt to hospital policies; new equipment and technologies are utilized within the department; team members have extensive tenure and specialized training
