Contract | 52 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting during night shift hours
• Adhere to every-other-holiday rotation, including an expectation to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
• Fulfill weekend commitment of 3 weekends per six-week schedule
• Float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, including floating within scope of practice
• Complete required orientation modules as assigned by specialty

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals are not accepted for this unit)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus
• BSN preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a pediatric specialty setting
