Details Mother/Baby unit in a hospital setting Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 4x12-hour shifts per week Patients are postpartum mothers and newborns No on-call requirements Floating required as needed Weekends required per facility policy Epic EMR Requirements Active RN license in Oklahoma or valid compact RN license required at the time of consideration Current certifications required: BLS and NRP Minimum 2 years of Mother/Baby nursing experience required No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted) All certifications must be valid through at least the first 30 days of the assignment unless documentation of a scheduled renewal is provided Additional Information Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for assigned Mother/Baby patients Coordinates care with other departments and evaluates effectiveness of care provided by the broader care team Upholds patient rights and confidentiality in all aspects of care Black scrubs required Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up within the assignment Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate Candidates living within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this facility; after completion, a 1-year separation or transfer outside the 50-mile radius is required before returning 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID #P-717858.
