Registered Nurse - Float

Seeking a registered nurse for night shifts to provide direct patient care in a critical care, emergency, or labor and delivery setting. Responsibilities Include Applying medical-surgical nursing standards to enhance patient care and quality of life. Building effective relationships with patients, families, and the healthcare team to develop personalized care plans. Utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Considering physical, cultural, social, and emotional factors in patient management. Collaborating with the healthcare team to assess needs, set goals, and evaluate outcomes. Communicating effectively for culturally sensitive, ethical, and compassionate care. Educating patients and families on health maintenance and comfort measures. Mentoring colleagues and applying evidence-based practices in medical-surgical nursing. Performing point-of-care testing and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Include Graduate of an accredited nursing program. One to two years of nursing experience, preferably in critical care or emergency settings. Current RN licensure and BLS certification. Physical requirements: standing, walking, lifting, reaching, and sensory acuity.
