Job Responsibilities

• Execute thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and detailed medical history reviews
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to design and implement patient-specific surgical treatment approaches
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, including preparing surgical environments, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during operations
• Administer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Educational Background

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Both BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
