Informatica Developer
The Informatica developer will work with resources at the company and their vendor to migrate and de-identify large volumes of data across multiple systems. Their principal responsibility will be to extract data from a mainframe running ADABAS into an Oracle DB using Informatica and use CloverETL for other ETL work. They will also develop and execute data masking scripts (using the Oracle Enterprise Managers data masking pack) to de-identify data in the Oracle DB to mask PII, and PHI data. In addition, they will assist CGI by executing conversion scripts developed by CGI to remap the data from the Oracle DB mentioned above into the Client system (another Oracle DB) and work with CGI to troubleshoot any failures and data issues across multiple environments. From time to time, they will be called on to assist with other technical tasks and development activities where their skills are an appropriate match. The developer should be an independent contributor capable of managing their own schedules and requiring limited guidance or mentoring, but at the same time have the discipline that typically comes with working as part of a large, formal, process-driven development team.
Responsibilities
- Experience in Informatica, Clover and Oracle data masking tool.
- Ability to execute data extraction and execute conversion scripts.
- Ability to troubleshoot any failures and data issues.
- Develop and execute datamasking scripts.
- Develop ETL scripts using Clover for MDM. The data sources are MA21,MMIS, Beacon and EDM.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in technical and functional analysis in government tax and wage systems.
- Prior experience as a systems analyst within a Massachusetts state agency, preferably the DOR.
- Previous experience with application interface development projects.
- Experience developing requirements for SOA programs utilizing Oracle ESB, Web Services and other middleware applications such as WebLogic.
- Previous experience IBM and WebSphere
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
