Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Holding Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: Cardiac Telemetry experience required Description: Mandatory questionnaire must be completed. Candidates must be aware of the job description. Candidates should be flexible with scheduling and understand the no-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. Any upcoming vacations must be disclosed as they may affect compliance completion. Candidates must be aware of the Pass Fail EKG exam required for all registered nurses, regardless of specialty. This position involves working with patients undergoing various cardiac procedures. Candidates should have experience in arterial line management, blood product administration, and post-cardiac care. Skills in interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of cardiac and vasoactive drips are essential. The unit supports interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. Travelers may be floated to different campuses as needed. All registered nurses must pass a compliance EKG exam. Modules will be required, with hours varying based on the unit. Only those with no open background check cases will be considered. Candidates must not reside within a specified regional distance from the facility.
