Hybrid role with 4 days in office.Exciting opportunity to join growing legal team of investment bank.About Our ClientBank.Job DescriptionProvide legal advice on range of broker-dealer and bank services including institutional trading of equity and fixed income securities, originations of equity and fixed income instruments, ETFs, and municipal securities offerings, and the offering of outsourced trading services.Providing advice and assistance to business, Credit, Risk and Compliance partners concerning legal, regulatory and reputational issues arising from fixed income equities businesses.Advising on new markets, new product and service development, and strategic business initiativesWorking closely with internal clients.Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal contracts and other documents.Manage the work of paralegals and junior attorneys.Monitoring, interpreting and communicating on proposed regulations and their application to the businessOverseeing and managing the retention of outside counsel on business initiatives and other matters.Maintaining an understanding of global regulatory issues.JD.NY Bar admission.Minimum 12 years of experience at a law firm and/or large financial institution covering fixed income and equity sales and trading activities.Experience managing others.Knowledge of current regulatory issues impacting institutional sales and trading and capital markets businesses.Ability to provide strategic legal advice in a busy environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to staying informed about legal trends in the financial services industry.
