Quick Facts: Location: Dayton Children's Plaza, Dayton, OH 45404 Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date: 11/16/2026 Shift: Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM – 3:30 PM Hours per Week: Approximately 35 hours Employment Type: Locum Tenens License/Certifications: Ohio Medical License, DEA, BLS, PALS (or equivalent) Experience: Prior Pediatric Anesthesiology experience preferred but not required Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: $0.00/hour (disclosed upon application) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and related expenses What You’ll Do: Provide anesthesia coverage for approximately 50-60 surgical cases daily, spanning neonatal to adult patients Supervise CRNAs within a collaborative care team model Serve in a hospital-based operating room setting within a Level 1 Trauma Center Work with a collegial team of RNs, surgical techs, PCAs, surgeons, and APPs Ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during perioperative care Adhere to hospital protocols and anesthesia standards What You Need: Valid Ohio medical license and DEA registration (or eligibility) Certification in BLS and PALS (or equivalent) Minimum of 2+ years of pediatric anesthesiology experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: Dayton Children's is seeking an experienced Pediatric Anesthesiologist for coverage during a maternity leave.
