Front End DeveloperLocation: Westlake TX/Raleigh NC/Boston MA – Initially remote till covid.Duration: Long Term.Required:Bachelors in computer science or related major with 6+ years of Web development experienceOrMaster’s in computer science or related major with 4+ years of Web development.Investment/financial services experience will be a plus.Experience and expertise in at least one modern UI framework (e.g. Angular, React) is a must. Exposure to many frameworks is a nice to have.Experience or certification in Cloud-based (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) architectures is nice to haveProven experience building robust front-end experiences and user-cantered products, services, and platforms at scaleSpecialist understanding and experience with the full UI development process including planning, analysis, design, coding, user testing, problem debugging and resolution.Ability to take ownership of technology strategy and guide decisions about end user experience.Proficiency with Angular 8+/ React, Typescript, Core JavaScript, HTML 5, and CSSExperience of consuming and designing RESTful APIs, and good knowledge of standard methodologies in API design.Good understanding of automation (testing, continuous integration/deployment)Dedication to high quality, balanced with rapid pace of delivery – delivering technology changes to end users every two weeks, and as frequent as dailyProven track record delivering phenomenal UIs to production
