Work Environment

Our outpatient rehabilitation facility is designed to accommodate a wide range of therapies and treatments, offering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for our patients. The work setting is onsite, providing our team with direct and immediate interaction with patients in a hands-on environment. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring you have a consistent schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and recognize the goals and specific needs of each patient to formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and personalized care.
• Utilize prior experiences in orthopedic outpatient care to inform and enhance treatment approaches.
• Provide cost-effective interventions aimed at improving patients' mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Explore and recommend non-surgical treatment options as viable alternatives for patient care.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Customize wellness and fitness programs catering specifically to the unique requirements of each patient.
• Deliver quality, evidence-based care and employ proven interventions to empower patients in their recovery journey.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment to maximize their functional outcomes.
• Promote key aspects of a healthy lifestyle, enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated treatment and holistic care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor patient progress, and maintain open lines of communication.
• Document all services provided meticulously to uphold quality standards in patient care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California with no pending board actions or disciplinary actions on the license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a comprehensive understanding of orthopedic conditions.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing effective exercise regimens tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, ensuring efficient patient data management.

Preferred Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Proven success in developing patient care programs that result in improved therapeutic outcomes.
• Experience providing mentorship or training in a clinical setting is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
