Elementary School Teacher

Adelphi is seeking a Resource Teacher to provide pullout special education services for students in grades K5 at an Elementary school in Greer, South Carolina. This position is ideal for a dedicated, certified educator committed to supporting students with learning disabilities or multi-categorical needs through targeted, individualized instruction in a small group setting.

Rate: $24/hr

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Valid South Carolina Teaching Certificate (or eligibility to obtain)
Special Education endorsement/certification for Learning Disabilities (LD) or Multi-categorical (multi-categorical preferred; LD acceptable)
Completion of a teacher preparation program with student teaching
Background check and fingerprinting clearance

Responsibilities:

Provide targeted pullout instruction aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
Adapt and deliver instruction using evidence-based strategies to meet diverse learning needs
Assess student progress regularly and update IEPs accordingly
Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and service delivery
Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices
Attend IEP meetings and contribute to individualized planning
Utilize technology to support learning and communication
Ensure compliance with IDEA and South Carolina state standards
Promote a respectful, supportive, and academically challenging environment
Any other duties as assigned
