Essential Responsibilities:

• Execute, interpret, and correlate clinical laboratory tests according to established procedures and protocols.
• Communicate and document test results accurately and promptly to support patient care decisions.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Document quality control activities to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Identify and resolve routine equipment issues; report complex malfunctions to the Laboratory Supervisor.
• Follow all laboratory policies, procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements diligently.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives actively.
• Stay current with professional knowledge through ongoing education and training.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, nursing staff, and fellow laboratory team members to deliver outstanding patient care.

Qualifications: - Must possess a current state license for the laboratory in question. - Educational requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biological Science, or Chemical Science from an accredited institution; or
• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science from an accredited institution; or
• Successful completion of an accredited clinical laboratory training program approved by recognized accrediting organizations.
• ASCP certification or equivalent is required.
