The Certified Home Health Aide provides compassionate, personalized care to patients primarily in private home settings. This role involves supporting patients with daily activities such as mobility, personal hygiene, and household tasks while maintaining thorough documentation and effective communication. The position operates independently with periodic check-ins and typically follows day shifts at a single assigned location.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with mobility support and safe movement
- Support personal hygiene and daily living activities
- Provide household support to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Document care provided and patient status accurately
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Work independently while reporting progress during periodic check-ins
Required Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in home health care
- Completion of a Certified Home Health Aide training program
- Strong skills in patient care and mobility support
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Demonstrated compassion in patient interactions
