Quality Assurance Technician

Description

  • Conduct QA audits, ensuring Company standards are maintained, and product integrity is preserved.
  • Work closely with management to resolve any quality or production issues.
  • Evaluate and take corrective action regarding labeling and product movement.
  • Assist in the education and instruction of team members throughout the facility.
  • Act as source of critical quality issues.
  • Perform HACCP and quality tests and audits.
  • All other relevant duties to the position.
Requirements
  • High School diploma.
  • HACCP certification preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Previous quality experience in a food manufacturing environment required.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
  • Constantly stand and/or walk throughout shift.
  • Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
  • Exposure to heat (99F, 37C) and cold (45F, 4C).
  • Exposure to damp, wet and cold environments.
  • Regularly lift 25+ lbs.
  • Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
