Quality Assurance Technician

Shift 2nd Shift Description
- Conduct QA audits, ensuring Company standards are maintained, and product integrity is preserved.
- Work closely with management to resolve any quality or production issues.
- Evaluate and take corrective action regarding labeling and product movement.
- Assist in the education and instruction of team members throughout the facility.
- Act as source of critical quality issues.
- Perform HACCP and quality tests and audits.
- All other relevant duties to the position.
- High School diploma.
- HACCP certification preferred.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Previous quality experience in a food manufacturing environment required.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Constantly stand and/or walk throughout shift.
- Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
- Exposure to heat (99F, 37C) and cold (45F, 4C).
- Exposure to damp, wet and cold environments.
- Regularly lift 25+ lbs.
- Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
