Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) Internal Medicine - Christiansburg

Carilion Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Internal Medicine team in Christiansburg, Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings

What We Require:

• Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
• Experience: 1-3 preferred
• Licensure/Certification: Current state Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) DEA license and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required AHA BLS-HCP certification required. Advanced Life Support certification preferred. Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with State regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Boards of Nursing and Medicine.
• Minimum qualifications: Able to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers. Demonstrates good written and oral communication skills. Computer literacy required for automated computer systems, including electronic medical records.

Compensation Range:

$107,993.60 - $172,785.60

Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
