Retail Sales Associate

Address: 311 Hwy. 71 West Bastrop, Texas 78602 Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker) Pay range based on experience: $12.50 – $15.00 per hour. Competitive pay, uncapped bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits are offered. A 5‑week paid training program leads to a raise and promotion to Pawnbroker. Continued training unlocks additional hourly wage increases and positions such as Lead Pawnbroker and Assistant Manager. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, interacting in person and on the phone. Process sales, loans, and extensions. Perform opening and closing store duties. Maintain a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment for all customers. Build relationships with customers to achieve mutually satisfying agreements for pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Previous customer service, cashier, or retail experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and multitasking ability. Pass a criminal background check and drug test (performed after a conditional offer). Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations. Knowledge of commonly pawned items (tools, jewelry, firearms, electronics) a plus. Sales background, bilingual, and other skill sets are a plus.
