Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Job Opening in Southfield, Michigan
A Veteran-focused clinical evaluation program in southeastern Michigan is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform structured Compensation and Pension (C&P) examinations for military Veterans. The provider will complete non-treatment disability assessments, review medical and mental-health histories, and document findings electronically through standardized federal examination tools. Responsibilities include conducting one-time evaluations, submitting Disability Benefits Questionnaires within required timelines, and supporting high-volume sites serving large Veteran populations; this role offers a competitive compensation package.
Qualifications
- Experience conducting medical evaluations or primary care assessments
- Experience reviewing medical histories and documenting structured clinical findings
- Master's degree in Nursing (NP) or completion of an accredited PA program
- Active Michigan NP or PA license or eligibility
- Active, unrestricted DEA registration
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to work independently and collaboratively
