Position Title: Accountant

Location: Fridley, MN (Hybrid after training)

Compensation: $35.00-$40.00 / Per hour

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday

Job Description:

We are partnering with a well-established organization to identify a Staff Accountant to support a collaborative accounting team. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple entities, and contributing to the month-end close process. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing competing priorities while meeting critical monthly deadlines.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.

· Support month-end close activities, including financial statement preparation and account analysis.

· Prepare and review financial reports for multiple business units and locations.

· Assist with cost reporting and support audit-related reporting requirements.

· Research, analyze, and resolve accounting discrepancies and adjusting entries.

· Partner with internal stakeholders to gather financial information and ensure reporting accuracy.

· Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.

· Utilize Excel to analyze financial data and prepare reporting schedules.

· Assist with special accounting projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.

· Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.

· Experience preparing financial statements and supporting multiple entities or business units is preferred.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
