Registered Nurse – Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology – Baptist Downtown Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology team at our Baptist Downtown location in Jacksonville, FL. This full‑time position involves rotating 4 nine‑hour day shifts (Mon‑Fri) with participation in rotating call and holidays. Responsibilities include placement of IR lines, filters, and catheters, monitoring patients in MRI who have implants or devices, and assisting in other radiology departments as needed. Job Responsibilities Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs, and anticipation of needs of the case Assisting the Interventional Radiologists Call required Experience Requirements 1‑2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred 1‑2 years Telemetry Experience Hospital Experience Education & Credential Requirements Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Licensed Registered Nurse Required Location: Baptist Downtown, Jacksonville, FL.
