Real Estate Attorney

Providing strategic legal counsel in a full-time remote capacity, the Real Estate and Facilities Attorney will manage complex commercial leasing, real estate transactions, and employee health and safety compliance while supporting the business objectives of a healthcare organization. Key responsibilities Review and negotiate complex commercial leases and provide strategic guidance on lease risk allocation and compliance Lead legal support for real estate acquisitions and dispositions, conducting due diligence and managing outside counsel Advise on employee health and safety laws, developing policies and supporting regulatory inquiries related to workplace safety Required qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with 5+ years of relevant legal experience in commercial real estate and facilities Active admission and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with the ability to obtain additional licensure if required Extensive experience in commercial leasing, including negotiating and drafting lease agreements and managing real estate transactions Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent transactions effectively while meeting tight deadlines Working knowledge of Stark and Anti-Kickback regulations as applied to leasing in healthcare real estate transactions
