Ambulatory Pharmacy Operations Manager
The Ambulatory Pharmacy Operations Manager shall plan organize and supervise all pharmaceutical and financial activities occurring in respective ambulatory pharmacies complying with all departmental and organizational policies and procedures federal state and local laws governing the practice of pharmacy and the rules and standards established by regulatory agencies (Medicare Medicaid HRSA etc.) involved in the provision of health care.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of college of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education
Licensure: Current license to practice Pharmacy in the State of Georgia (with no restrictions) required
Certified Immunizer or become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
BLS certified.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in retail pharmacy.
Minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory capacity in retail pharmacy.
Knowledge of retail pharmacy financial systems healthcare reimbursement pharmacy purchasing pharmacy technologies computerized pharmacy systems Federal and State laws and regulatory guidelines governing pharmaceutical practice and controlled substance procurement storage and dispensing compliance.
