Associate Director, Transformation
AbbVie
The Associate Director of Transformation leads strategic change initiatives across AbbVie's organization, driving transformation programs that accelerate business outcomes and enhance operational efficiency. This role partners with senior stakeholders to design and implement enterprise-wide initiatives spanning product development, AI/ML deployment, manufacturing, and clinical trial acceleration.
Responsibilities
- Lead transformation workstreams across the enterprise, managing stakeholder alignment and driving initiatives
- Research, problem-solve with stakeholders, and develop data-backed recommendations on mission-critical topics
- Prepare and present executive-level communications and strategic recommendations to leadership
- Foster culture of innovation, inclusion, and agility within the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, MBA) preferred
- 4+ years in competitive, fast-paced environment (management consulting, pharma R&D, manufacturing)
- Experience managing large projects in complex matrixed organizations
- Demonstrated ability to present data and metrics to executive leadership
- Proven facilitative leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills in global teams
- Strong analytical and complex problem-solving abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
