Physical Therapist

Provide inpatient and outpatient physical therapy care. Treat 9-10 patients per day. Common diagnoses include orthopedic conditions across all joints/body regions. Post-operative care for shoulders, knees, hips, and ankles is required. Assist with balance, falls, and stroke recovery (CVA). Patients may include swing bed and general medical cases; outpatient services make up over 95% of the caseload. Collaboration with other disciplines such as occupational therapy and speech-language pathology may be necessary. Utilize the Epic EMR system for documentation. Manager is present onsite to provide support. Rehabilitation aides and one knowledgeable PTA are available to assist. No self-scheduling or block scheduling is allowed. Typical work schedule is Tuesday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 6 PM for four 10-hour shifts, or from 8 AM to 5:30 PM for four 9-hour shifts. Weekend availability is not required, and the facility is closed on holidays. Dress code is business casual or professional athletic attire with closed-toe shoes. Department-specific orientation will be provided. Evaluations include a 60-minute session with an additional 30 minutes for documentation. Follow-up sessions are 45 minutes, one-on-one with the therapist. Lunch and note time are incorporated into the schedule. Cancellation policy allows for one cancellation per week without penalty.
