Your adventure begins now—unleash your potential with MANTECH! ***This is for a future opportunity*** MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Command Aware and Radio Systems Administrator to join our team in Alexandria, VA, Philadelphia, PA, or Chandler, AZ. This is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week. In this role, you will perform the administration, data integrity checks, and cross-functional coordination of our Command Aware systems, ensuring seamless tactical communications and robust data management across the entire Area of Responsibility (AOR). Responsibilities include but are not limited to: System Administration & Data Updates: Support Command Aware coordination efforts to continuously update, maintain, and validate critical operational data AOR-Wide Field Coordination: Coordinate directly with field personnel to assist in planning and executing comprehensive, AOR-wide system and data updates Identity & Call Sign Management: Accurately update radios within the Command Aware platform with designated call signs and organize structural folders with radio user profiles Console Database Integration: Collaborate closely with TACCOM staff to implement, manage, and coordinate essential updates to the alias database for communication consoles Data Resilience & Governance: Follow established processes for data backup, secure storage, and historical tracking to preserve system auditing Standardization & Records Management: Utilize technical policies, operational procedures, and work instructions to maintain a robust records management framework Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network/Telecommunications Engineering or a related field AND 4+ years of work experience, OR Master's and 2+ years of experience, OR Associate and 6+ years of experience, OR High School diploma/GED and 8+ years of experience System Engineering Expertise: Experience operating as an IT Systems Engineer or Network & Systems Administrator within a complex enterprise environment Database & Lifecycle Coordination: Experience performing large-scale data updates, tracking historical changes, and managing alias databases or configurations across distributed teams Data Continuity: Proven ability to execute reliable data backup, storage, and long-term records management procedures Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and operational excellence Preferred Qualifications: Platform Familiarity: Prior experience administering or coordinating within Motorola Command Aware or closely related tactical management suites Governance Writing: Experience working with and maintaining formal technical policies, compliance procedures, and organizational guidelines for federal or regulated systems Security Clearance Requirements: U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain agency suitability prior to starting this position Position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance Physical Requirements: The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations MANTECH considers all qualified applicants for employment without regard to disability or veteran status or any other status protected under any federal, state, or local law or regulation.
