Job Summary

IS Solutions is part of Comcast headquarters Finance and Accounting organization within Revenue Operations. The organization is responsible for delivering best-in-class billing solutions and services across all our Comcast Cable lines of business from ideation through execution; with a growth-minded, diverse, and skilled team.

This role is within IS Solution’s Continuous Improvement team – focused on driving continuous improvement across the organization by aligning strategy, data and execution. This team’s vision is to drive consistent results through data driven decisions and flexible, outcome focused teams to scale people, process, and technology improvements across ISS in partnership with operational teams and partners across Comcast.

The Lead Analyst, Citizen Led Automation plays a critical role in enabling and accelerating the citizen developer community across IS Solutions. This role serves as a hands on expert and thought partner, supporting automation and AI use cases, ensuring adherence to governance standards, and helping translate business problems into scalable, effective citizen built solutions. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and acts as a force multiplier for both business users and the broader automation organization.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with citizen developers to ensure adherence to approved automation standards and governance, and providing delivery estimates, milestone timelines, and status updates to program leadership

• Leading technical and professional upskilling initiatives (ie. Digital Changemaker Program). Providing 1:1 mentorship to citizen developers and advocacy with their leaders

• Serving as a technical expert, designing robust solutions in collaboration with citizen developers for new applications and enhancements across multiple functional areas of technology

• Overseeing the entire lifecycle of citizen projects, from inception to deployment, with a focus on strategic alignment, upskilling and execution

• Collaborating with citizen developers to build, configure, and enhance automation and AI solutions within approved citizen platforms, including validating logic, integrations, design standards, and outputs through hands on collaboration

• Working with citizens to produce in-depth design, interface, system, and user documentation to support the development and ongoing maintenance of applications

• Leading rigorous software testing efforts of the citizen led toolkit, including end-to-end and performance testing, to ensure application reliability and performance standards

• Providing mentorship to citizen developers, conducting code reviews to uphold coding standards, and promoting quality in software development practices

• Managing the administration and deployment of technology used within the citizen toolkit, along with detailed support documentation to facilitate efficient program governance

• Identifying and addressing issues promptly that could impact project timelines or specifications, ensuring project objectives are met effectively

• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
