Public Finance Attorney

Scope of Role Bricker Graydon Wyatt is seeking an attorney with 5+ years’ experience to join its growing public finance and economic development finance practice in its Cincinnati, Ohio office. The attorney will work on public finance and governmental transactional work, economic development finance, and Ohio state and local tax law, including municipal bond financing and related structures. Key Responsibilities Provide legal support for municipal bond financing—including general obligation, revenue, and conduit issuances. Advise on tax increment finance (TIF) law, tax abatement law, special assessment law, and other public‑private financing structures. Handle technical tax issues in a fast‑paced environment. Collaborate with multiple attorneys on a variety of assignments. Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of experience in public finance, economic development finance, or related governmental transactional work. Knowledge of Ohio state and local tax law. Training in tax, economics, or corporations (LLM or MBA) preferred. Excellent academic credentials, high ethical standards, strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. Strong project‑management skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Compensation Competitive total rewards package.
