Assistant Facilities Manager

Assistant Facilities Manager – JLL Key Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day site operations in accordance with company policies, procedures and contract requirements. Manage vendor relationships for cleaning, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and critical systems; ensure contract compliance and insurance requirements. Track and audit client work orders within the CMMS to verify vendor adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service quality and meeting or exceeding key performance indicators. Assist with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and monthly spend reporting; manage vendor purchase orders, invoices and payment processing. Lead, develop and supervise a professional, energetic team dedicated to delivering extraordinary service. Coordinate internally with fitness, food services, security and capital project teams to ensure integrated facility operations. Required Qualifications High school diploma. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in facilities management or a related field. Demonstrated people‑management skills with the ability to lead, motivate and develop teams. Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Strong analytical, organizational and presentation skills. Experience utilizing enterprise workplace management systems, digital ticketing platforms and data‑reporting tools. Proficient in information technology tools and platforms, including generative AI tools and conversational search applications. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Facilities, Property, Business, Engineering, Finance or a related field. Advanced experience with CMMS platforms and data analytics. Background in financial management and budget reconciliation. Experience implementing innovative programs that reduce operating costs and increase productivity. Location & Work Schedule Cambridge, Massachusetts – 100% on‑site. Monday to Friday, 7:00AM to 4:00PM. Compensation Annual salary: $66,400 to $83,158 (USD).
