Inventory Control Associate

Essential Functions Organize and perform daily physical inventory counts. Assist in monitoring product quality and advise buyers & AM warehouse managers of deviations from standards. Slot new product and advise of locations. Work with buyers on issues regarding product quantity, quality, and usage. Provides inventory reports to buyers, AM warehouse managers, and the inventory control manager. Operate a cherry picker to get up higher to count. Manages and maintains the inventory system. Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory. Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits. Competencies, Education, and Experience Well-organized with ability to prioritize Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills Innovative and creative thinking Listening skills Complex problem-solving Bilingual-Spanish Preferred High school diploma or GED equivalent. At least 1+ years of recent and successful experience performing the above functions in a significant produce distribution or processing center, or a significant food manufacturing and distribution operation.
