About the Position

Job Title: Rapid Response Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 6 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years in Labor and Delivery License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Must-Have: EFM competency SVE competency C-Section circulation Description: This is a Rapid Response nursing position. Candidates must be prepared for over 1,000 deliveries a month. Guaranteed hours are 48 per week. Successful candidates will have experience in SVE competency and C-Section circulation. No requests for time off or special scheduling will be considered. The unit consists of 32 beds and 150 staff members. The staffing ratio accommodates 1:1 or 1:2 for both day and night shifts. Types of procedures performed include SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude. The dress code includes navy blue scrubs. Only solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts are acceptable. Candidates with previous high-volume unit experience and internal monitor placement competency will be prioritized. This position offers the opportunity for permanent roles on the unit.
