We work with data owners across Amazon to standardize shopping data where necessary, allowing developers to easily build new shopping experiences without worrying about gathering data from multiple sources.As an engineer on AmazonAPI, you will be be a key technical advocate for partner teams as they integrate and use our platform. You will contribute to the design and development of the end-to-end developer experience. You will work with senior leaders across Amazon, finding solutions to multi-dimensional problems and driving a consistent platform experience across the different parts of the AmazonAPI product suite.Key job responsibilities- Be a key contributor to our team strategy and roadmap.- Be responsible for developing a deep understanding of the needs and challenges facing the diverse set of data owners who build on the Amazon.com website today.- Work cross-functionally with many other engineering teams, and partner developers to design and implement solutions that delight our customers.About the teamAmazonAPI's mission is to be the data plane for the Store website. Our goal is to be the one stop shop for any team's store data needs at Amazon. This means we provide APIs for all different types of data such as product data, customer data, deals data, etc.. Our service's traffic has doubled every year and it processes millions of transactions every second. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
