Contract | 13 Weeks | Rotating Shifts (Days and Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | 7:00–19:00 / 19:00–7:00 | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
• Rotate between day and night shifts as scheduled, including 3 weekends per six-week schedule
• Must be available to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays as required
• Float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs, within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic
• Adhere to all facility compliance policies, including orientation modules completed during onboarding

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or Virginia RN license pending (must be in hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Epic experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• References required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals are not accepted for this unit)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus
• BSN preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a pediatric critical care setting
