C/C++ Real-Time Embedded Software Engineer
Client is seeking an experienced C/C++ Real-Time Embedded Software Engineer with hands-on Hardware-in-the-Loop experience. This role supports real-time embedded systems, Linux-based environments, simulation systems, and software development for secure engineering applications.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support C/C++ software for real-time embedded systems.
- Work with Hardware-in-the-Loop systems in support of embedded software development and validation.
- Develop and troubleshoot software in Linux and real-time operating environments.
- Support simulation systems used for real-time embedded applications.
- Participate in full software development life cycle activities, including development, integration, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-discipline and cross-functional engineering teams.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
- 4+ years of experience in real-time embedded software engineering.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C/C++.
- Experience with C++ version 11 or higher.
- Proficiency with Linux systems.
- Experience with real-time operating environments.
- Previous HWIL experience working with real-time embedded systems.
- Experience with simulation systems.
Preferred Skills or Experience
- Ada experience.
- Full software development life cycle experience.
- Experience working in cross-discipline or cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Git, GitLab, or JIRA.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
Work Details
- Onsite role in Grand Prairie, TX.
- MFC location.
- Monday–Thursday 4/10A schedule.
