Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction - Richmond

The Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction - Richmond will:

• Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects from kickoff through completion.
• Support project teams with scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Track project progress and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Manage project records, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and contract documentation.
• Help maintain compliance with company safety standards and project requirements.
• Work closely with experienced Project Managers and operational leaders to develop leadership skills.
• Support mission-critical commercial construction projects with long-term regional impact.
• Contribute to the expansion and growth of the Virginia operation, creating future leadership opportunities.

The Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction - Richmond will have:

• 0-2 years of experience in construction, project coordination, engineering, or a related field.
• Commercial construction experience is preferred but not required.
• Concrete, data center, or mission-critical experience is not necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and desire to grow professionally.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with construction software is a plus.
• Must be located near South Hill, VA or willing to relocate.
• Desire to build a long-term career with significant advancement opportunities.
