Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction - Richmond
The Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction - Richmond will:
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects from kickoff through completion.
- Support project teams with scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Track project progress and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Manage project records, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and contract documentation.
- Help maintain compliance with company safety standards and project requirements.
- Work closely with experienced Project Managers and operational leaders to develop leadership skills.
- Support mission-critical commercial construction projects with long-term regional impact.
- Contribute to the expansion and growth of the Virginia operation, creating future leadership opportunities.

The Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction - Richmond will have:
- 0-2 years of experience in construction, project coordination, engineering, or a related field.
- Commercial construction experience is preferred but not required.
- Concrete, data center, or mission-critical experience is not necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and desire to grow professionally.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with construction software is a plus.
- Must be located near South Hill, VA or willing to relocate.
- Desire to build a long-term career with significant advancement opportunities.
