Position Summary The Electrical Assembler is responsible for crimping, cutting, and assembling electrical systems. This role will build, route, install, and assemble electrical and electro-mechanical components using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Responsibilities Follows diagrams or blueprints, ensuring that wires are built to print Crimps and cuts wires Splicing, soldering, terminating of single and multicore wire Experience with aircraft/military style connectors and harnesses Adhere to NEC and IEC standards for proper building/installation of wires Performs other related duties as assigned Skills & Competencies Must be a U.S. citizen Ability to read drawings and work instructions Ability to use hand and power tools (electrical) Certified Soldering Certification a plus Electrical Termination Certification (IPC/WHMA-A-620) a plus Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent At least 3 years of relevant training, education, and/or experience Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time, and reach with hands and arms The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus and read very small print Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time Working Conditions The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
