Job Description
EGA Associates is assisting with contract HemOnc physician coverage for the VAMC in Fresno, CA.
• Looking for physicians who are board certified or recent graduates ready to sit for the boards in Hematology Oncology with any unrestricted US medical license
• Requires DEA, BLS, ACLS, recent experience and a clean background
• Schedule: M-F, 8am-430pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
• No call, no nights, no weekends
• Will be Hem Onc coverage for the military and veterans
• 90% patient care and 10% training, meetings, etc.
• Duties will include but are not limited to: evaluation, treatment and management: physicians shall admit and coordinate all aspects of care for hospitalized medical patients, including: admission, including history and physical examinations, and consultation appropriate placement within the Hospital. Physicians shall assess, stabilize, and determine the disposition of inpatients with emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy regarding emergency and consultative call services.
• Start date is based on time for acceptance, credentialing and background clearances. Initial contract will go through May 7, 2027, with possible 12-month extension
