Imaging Services Assistant
$17.39 - $22.26 per hourAscension

- Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
- Guide and reassure patients by explaining upcoming imaging procedures clearly and providing educational materials to ease anxiety and build trust.
- Transport patients safely between clinical units and verify identity protocols to ensure secure handoffs and prompt exam starts.
- Assist imaging technologists with patient positioning, room readiness, and basic documentation in electronic records to streamline clinical workflow.
- Uphold radiation safety standards and infection control practices across all procedure suites to protect patients and fellow staff.
- Manage post-procedure clean-up, turnover, and supply restocking to keep imaging suites fully prepared and equipped for continuous patient care.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency with 1 years of cumulative job specific experience required.
